Vision and Aims

St.James has a vision to reach up to God, and out to our community – to love God and love our neighbour.

Our current aims are:
To strengthen our discipleship, learning to speak about our faith and to encourage one another in holy living.

To develop our services to that we might reach more people effectively and enable them to encounter God.

To build on our many links with so many young people and draw them into a life of faith in our church.

Church has changed!

The Church is now open every Wednesday for private prayer,

There is a regular 10:30am Sunday service – please let the wardens know if you are planning on coming.

If you feel unable to come, then please do join us on zoom – ask the vicar for the invite.

If you need help or support please do get in touch – we know that this is not over yet.

New service

From 16th September there will be a BCP Communion Service at 12 noon at the church. If you would like to come, or need a lift, please contact the church – click here

Zoom, Pray, Love

There will be a 6 week course on learning to pray, helpful hints, encouragements etc. Weds evenings, 8 – 9pm. For a link to join the zoom chat – click here

Safeguarding

St James Church takes its responsibilities surrounding the safeguarding of children, young people, and adults who may be at risk very seriously, and works in partnership with the Diocese of Salisbury to ensure that we work in accordance with best practice at all times.
