Thank you to everyone who joined for our Remembrance service on Sunday 9th November 2025. An amazing £271.46 was raised for The Royal British Legion.
We celebrated Remembrance at St James’ Church on Sunday 10 November 2024 around the War memorial. We were joined by representatives from Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Boys Brigade, St James’ School and the Parish Council. Wreaths were laid and then all went into an overflowing Church for the Service. It is always so lovely to see so many people coming together in Remembrance.
2023 – £258.02 was raised through the Church collection on Remembrance Sunday and £47.39 was raised through the sale of Poppies and Poppy related items. All this money went to The Royal British Legion to continue their great work.
