Some of you know that I used to be Rector of Bemerton, just outside Salisbury. It was here that George Herbert was a vicar for 3 years, before dying, aged 40, and being buried in St Andrews. I learnt a lot about him and his poems. Here is “Sepuluchre” with commentary.
