We welcomed our new vicar on Monday 5th November and are delighted to have Revd Simon Woodley with us at St James’, Alderholt.
Simon is married to Rebecca, a teacher, and they have 2 children, Ned aged 13 who attends Burgate School and Bunty who is 10 and attends a school in Salisbury and will continue to do so for the next year until she has finished her junior education. They also have 1 cat and 2 guinea pigs!
Simon is also currently assistant Rural Dean of Salisbury Deanery and comes to us with a wealth of experience in many areas of the Church’s work.
St James’ are thrilled to welcome Simon – we are confident that we will be able to form a good working relationship with him and that he will lead us forward in our growth and outreach into the community.
